GWC ITALIA further invests in Italian and US production facilities and transforms China’s footprint from manufacturing to trading

With the aim of reinforcing further our core manufacturing capabilities and streamline execution we have decided to stop production in China by year-end, transforming China’s footprint from manufacturing to trading.
Current China’s valve production will be moved to GWC ITALIA’s two existing plants (Italy and US) where new investments in capacity expansion have already been launched.
China is however confirmed part of our growth strategy. The legal entity in Shanghai will be transformed into a trading company and the present Chinese supplier base further developed.
This way we are re-focusing GWC ITALIA towards what we’re doing best and building a stronger Group.
The fundamentals of the industry we operate in remain strong and GWC ITALIA’s current trading is very encouraging, standing out among peer competition worldwide. We’re pushing on.

GWC Italia cooperate with Energy Sales LLC to reach West Texas Permian Basin Territory
BAKERSFIELD, USA – February 2nd, 2022 – GWC Italia announces another key representative alliance with Energy Sales LLC, further strengthening its national reach in North America and in particular in the Permian Basin.
GWC Italia has been distributing valves in North America since 1985 and has continuously broadening its presence in the United States. This latest key representative partnership allows further growth of its clients’ portfolio as Energy Sales LLC, based in Odessa, Texas will represent GWC Italia in the Permian Basin Territory with its line of Welded and Bolted Body Trunnion Ball Valves, Floating Ball Valves as well as Gate, Globe & Check Valves providing coverage across the key region of West Texas.
GWC Italia has significant inventory in the United States and is extremely well positioned to support Energy Sales LLC into this key region.

Chairman’s Message 2022
In yet another year influenced by the Coronavirus, we continue to focus on the safety of our employees and of our visitors by strictly following our protocols to minimise any possible impact.
I am very proud of everyone’s efforts in this regard at GWC Italia group and want to take this opportunity again to express my sincere gratitude to everyone around the world for maintaining those high standards of safety and awareness.
Despite the fact that we still face uncertainty in our industry, our focus remains on developping long-term relationships, delivering solid returns for our customers, and building our long-term future.
The past two years have been the biggest challenges in many of our careers, we believe that the impact of the Coronavirus will continue to be felt throughout 2022.
That impact has presented itself by creating unprecedented shipping problems right across the globe and continuous variations in costs and availability of raw materials. I take pride in the way we have overcome many supply chain challenges, switching manufacturing across our wholly owned plants in Italy, USA and China as necessary to overcome several of those difficult challenges and continue to meet our main objective to deliver product on time.
We face an uncompromising competitive environment with client terms that challenge us in all the markets we operate in; our pledge remains – to be easy to do business with and meeting our commitments, a value appreciated by our partners.
I am extremely proud of how we have been able to make vital alliances in the USA during the past twelve months, supporting them by maintaining high levels of Ball Valve inventory for the Midstream and Upstream business in the USA. I am truly encouraged by that entire extended family of new personnel, new representatives and distributors. We remain committed to supporting this market with all the energy and resources we have available.
I also want to thank all of our employees globally for their professionalism in managing the many challenges we faced in 2021 and in the advancement in technology and product development. Our new global range of LNG and Natural Gas Ball Valve products will serve us well as we see some signs of recovery with market activity in 2022.
I am particularly excited with the development in the fitness for purpose program of our Hydrogen and CO2 Ball Valve products, these will serve us well into the next 30 years.
We are firmly committed to our sustainability charter and our efforts with becoming more carbon neutral by way of some innovative programs we are entering into. Our sustainability program is available online, and we will update it as our results continue to improve.
We shall continue to identify new opportunities to grow our business sustainably and minimising our impact on the environment.

“The aim is simple, to continue our own journey with practical improvements that we can all make to reduce our impact on the environment when manufacturing Ball Valves encompassing all of our manufacturing operations worldwide.
Many of our initiatives have short term marginal improvements, whilst others are longer term and aim to reduce waste in the manufacturing process.
We want to measure these environmental improvements and control them, we will be publishing results when asked to do so as part of our CSR program which is already aligned to our corporate goals that include Health, Safety, personal development and more.

GWC Italia joins forces with Marshall Rodeno Associated and Valve Products to target USA for further growth
BAKERSFIELD, California, USA – April 16, 2021 – GWC Italia, a US manufacturer of ball valves and gate, globe and check valves in Bakersfield, California, announced today that it is strengthening its national reach in North America with two key representative alliances with Marshall Rodeno Associated & Valve Products. These representation agreements provide coverage across key regions of the United States, in the South East and Northern and Southern Rockies, complementing existing mature representation elsewhere in the country.
Marshall Rodeno and Valve Products will represent GWC’s range of trunnion and floating ball valves, including the full range of gate, globe and check valves. The valve ranges will be further complemented in the months to come, with additional product lines and services to those operating in midstream, upstream, and downstream markets.
GWC has been distributing valves in North America since 1985 and has attained a high level of customer acceptance and references. “These new representative alliances allow us to further grow our customer base in areas where we have been unable to support properly with after sales service in the past,” said Marc Thurmond, Vice President-Sales North America for GWC Italia. “GWC Italia has significant inventory to support business growth anticipated in the upper and lower Rockies and the Southeast region where we are now represented by Marshall Rodeno and Valve Products. GWC Italia targets new US market spaces
Since it began operating in 1985, GWC Italia has traditionally built its reputation in downstream and parts of the midstream markets. However, the company expanded its markets significantly into upstream and large-scale pipeline business in 2015 with the introduction of its European manufacturing plant in Italy. This increased GWC Italia’s presence in North America across all spectrums of the market, including LNG.
